PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easier treatment than that than in the case of a practically used common instrument by utilizing the widened shape of a nerve root tube. SOLUTION: In a set of instruments to bore a nerve root tube of a tooth, the diameter D1 of the respective instruments measured at the base of the respective tip parts changes following the same geometric progression as the diameter D2 of the respective instruments measured at the base of the sharp lips. As a result, the diameter D2 changes more remarkably than the diameter D1 and becomes wider than the diameter D1 and that is not the same in the case of a conventional set of instruments. The taper of a rod 1 of the set of instruments differs for every instrument and thus a dental surgeon can make a nerve root tube into a widened shape especially suitable for being filled with a gutta-percha by the set of instruments.
