PURPOSE: A cleaning method and an apparatus for cleaning a lead frame is provided to reduce cost and, remove impurities simultaneously and improve productivity by improving the cleaning efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A first and a second transferrers(30,40) placed parallel with a frame(10) are driven in opposite directions. A cassette equipped with a lead frame fixation part placed at the exit of the second transferrer(40) is transferred by the second transferrer(40) toward the entry of the first transferrer(30). A cassettes and lead frame supplier(50) supplies the lead frame to this transferred cassette. Cassette and lead frame extruders(160,170) installed at the exit of the first transferrer(30) extrudes the transferred lead frame and to the second transferrer(40). A cleaner(100) adjacent to the first transferrer(30) injects a pressurized gas.
