RESIDUE HOT WATER SENSING DEVICE FOR BATHTUB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately sense a residual hot water in a bathtub without largely differentiating a radiating loss from the bathtub and piping by setting a tempera ture of a hot water in the bathtub before and after heating by a heat exchanger when a bath is trially operated and when a residual hot water in the bathtub is sensed to the same temperatures or as near temperature as possible. SOLUTION: If a hot water 14 exists in a bathtub when a residual hot water is sensed, its temperature T(C deg.) is measured by a temperature sensor 9. A set temperature of the final water 14 in the bathtub is TE(C deg.). A temperature of the water 14 in the bathtub before and after heating by a heat exchanger 3 when a bath is trially operated and when a residual hot water in the bathtub is sensed is set to the same temperatures as that of the water 14 in the bathtub before and after heating by the exchanger 3 when a residual hot water is sensed or as near temperature as possible. To this end, if T<=T1 and TE-ΔT>=T1 are satisfied, the bathtub water is reheated to T1(C deg.). If T<=T1 and TE-ΔTT1 is satisfied, the bathtub water is not reheated.
