PURPOSE: A jig is provided to make possible application to sampled of various standards, to eliminate need of a temporary jig or optional mounting test and to keep consistency of data by measuring resonance frequency of a steering column or an assembly of a steering column and a steering wheel. CONSTITUTION: A steering column mounting jig includes a base plate, and side plates(12) are fixed on both sides of the base plate. Fixing grooves(13) for fixing the jig are formed in the circumference of the base plate. The upper portion of the side plate is inclined by a specific taper, and an upper plate(14) is fixed along the upper inclined face of the side plate. with the jig, steering column is easily mounted.
