PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a soft and flexible fiber formed body excellent in industrial washing resistance, having mothproof ability, difficult to be fatigued by compression, having high moisture and water permeabilities and causing little problems in environmental aspects and to provide its production. SOLUTION: This fiber formed body consists of a mothproof polyester fiber A which has been mothproof treated, a non-mothproof polyester B and a conjugate fiber C which consists of a polyester R2 as a core component and a thermoplastic polymer R1 having a melting point >=20 deg.C lower than those of the polyester A and B as a sheath component. At least, a part of contact points between the mutual conjugate fibers C and between the conjugate fiber C and the polyesters A and B are bonded. Those constituent fibers A, B and C are arranged so that their fiber axes are parallel with one another against a cross section (bdef) of the thickness direction of the fiber formed body and randomly dispersed in the cross-section (bdef) in the thickness direction. An amount of deflection of the fiber formed body is 5-20cm. |
