PURPOSE: A security method for a computer file is provided for easily setting a file security using an option setting screen which is similar to a search function in a windows program. CONSTITUTION: A user inputs a security ID and password, sets a new security for a certain file or a folder, drives a security program in an initial process for checking whether a security function is activated and inputs a user's ID and password in a window of Figure 2(S1). The password setting operation is implemented by various encryption methods such as 64-bit method, 128-but method, etc. At this time, the ID and password may be supported by one security excusive program in such a manner that each ID and password data are stored in the database of the computer.
