The invention relates to a shift safety device (4), especially for the reverse gear of an automatic gear box, which is equipped with at least one actuator to impinge upon a central selector shaft (1) for selecting the gear step to be shifted and to shift gear steps, whereby the shift safety device (4) is a preloading device that impinges upon the selector shaft (1) in such a way that the actuator has to overcome a preloading force produced by the preloading device in order to select and/or shift gear steps. |
