PURPOSE: A novel antagonistic Actinomyces strain, Promicromonospora sp. KH-28 and antimycotic antibiotics thereof are provided. The Promicromonospora sp. KH-28 produces chitinase and antimycotic antibiotics at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A novel antagonistic Actinomyces strain, Promicromonospora sp. KH-28 and antimycotic antibiotics thereof are characterized by comprising the following steps: (i)selecting an Actinomyces strain from soil; (ii)while culturing the Actinomyces in chitinase production medium, measuring an activity of chitinase and selecting an antimycotic antibiotics producing strain; (iii)identifying the strain(Promicromonospora sp. KH-28)(KCTC 8946 P); (iv)surveying an antibacterial activity of Promicromonospora sp. KH-28; (v)surveying optimum temperature, pH, culture time for producing an antibiotics; (vi)extracting and purifying the antibiotics after extracting the culture filtrate with n-butanol and purifying with silica gel column chromatography and sephadex column chromatography; (vii)analyzing the antibiotics with UV-spectrophotometer, TLC, mass analyzer and the like; (viii)planting a red pepper which is infected with Fusarium oxysporum and injecting the Promicromonospora sp. KH-28 and measuring a growth rate.
