摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed lead-acid battery causing no fatigue failure even when using the battery over a long period in a low pressure state before a valve opening pressure value of a rubber valve arranged in the sealed lead-acid battery. SOLUTION: Since a section modulus can be increased by using a battery jar 1 arranging a rib 9 having a thickness corresponding width of the opening edge 7 on the opening edge 7 positioned on the outer periphery of the battery on the long edge side of a sealing part of a cell chamber 4 being a rectangular shape, thermal welding sealing stength of the battery jar 1 and a lid 2 can be increased.
