PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit where low consumption power can be realized, by detecting a minimal power source voltage by which normal operation is obtained at an operating frequency fitted to specification and by applying the voltage. SOLUTION: In this semiconductor integrated circuit, there are formed a critical path corresponding part 106, a delay time difference detecting means 107, where time difference between a delay time in the part 106 and a period of a clock signal 153 is detected and an output potential of the time difference is subjected to low-pass filtering, by using an LPF and to differential amplification, a voltage-decreasing means 101, in which the output of the means 107 is used as control input, and a negative feedback loop which supplies the decreased output voltage from the means 101 to an actual circuit and the critical path corresponding part 106 as power source. |
