PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly secure security for each memory area by dividing the memory area provided in a data carrier into plural areas and setting a password for each of the memory area. SOLUTION: The memory provided in the data carrier constituting this data carrier system with a reader/writer device is divided into plural areas. The password can be set for each of the memory area. Thus, security of each of the memory area can be effectively secured. When the data carrier is used by plural users, therefore, each user can write secret information in the memory of the data carrier without anxiety. |
