PORTABLE TERMINAL, AND SERVER SIDE SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a user has to operate both a portable terminal and an external device in a conventional system that comprises the external device and portable terminal which is connected to the external device to input a code represented by optical information to the external device. SOLUTION: Optical information which includes operational procedures of the external device as information is provided, and read by the portable terminal, thus making it possible to automatically perform required key operations and data entry. The portable terminal of one type automatically identifies the type of the external device, and changes operational information to be transmitted.
