PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for point cashing which enables cashable points given when service is used to be withdrawn as cash from an ATM or a CD machine of a consumer financial company without any depositing action. SOLUTION: A user inputs a necessary amount of money to a payment terminal of the consumer financial company and the payment terminal accepts the inputted amount. The accepted amount is sent to a service company terminal and subtracted from the loan balance of the user at the same time. The service company terminal subtracts the points corresponding to the received amount from points that the user accumulates to update the balance of the points. After the balance of the points is updated, data on the amount corresponding to the rest points are sent to the consumer financial company, which adds them to the loan balance of the user in a loan balance database. At this time, the service company pays the amount corresponding to the subtracted points to the consumer financial company. |
