PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing server and an information providing method that provide a player with information on a pinball parlor to which the player has not been or on a pinball machine or a pinball/slot machine with which the player has not played, considering the character or preference of the player. SOLUTION: Taking full advantage of the portability of a portable terminal such as a cellular phone, the server provides the player with pinball machine information or pinball/slot machine information via the terminal depending upon the location of the player with the terminal. This information allows the player to easily and instantly find a near parlor, where pinball machines or pinball/slot machines meeting his or her preference are installed, even if the player has not played with the machines or has not played in the parlor. |
