PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the wettability to Cu and Ni in a high-temperature brazing filler metal made of a Pb-free Zn solder alloy. SOLUTION: The Zn solder alloy, which contains 1-7 wt.% of Al, 0.5-6 wt.% of Mg, 0.1-20 wt.% of Ga, and 0.001-0.5 wt.% of P and is composed of the balance Zn and inevitable impurities, is used in the high-temperature brazing filler metal.
