PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste liquid treatment apparatus capable of effectively decomposing organochlorine compounds in waste liquid, and reducing the size of a treatment facility. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a cylindrical treatment tank for treating waste liquid, an ultraviolet irradiation lamp 53 provided from the upper part to downwards in the treatment tank, and for irradiating ultraviolet rays, an air introduction port 3d provided at the bottom part of the treatment tank, and for supplying air into the treatment tank, an air introduction nozzle 3c provided on the side face of the treatment tank, and directing in the direction parallel to the tangential line of the side face to supply air into the treatment tank, an waste liquid introduction port 3a provided at the bottom part of the treatment tank, and a waste liquid discharge port 3b provided at the upper part of the treatment tank.
