PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing-neck toy positively put in swinging operation even if there is dispersion in the weight of a head thereof or the head is heavy. SOLUTION: The head 3 of the swing-neck toy is swingable relatively to a body part 5 being mounted to the upper part of an arm 7 journaled in a swingable manner to the body part 5. A magnet 11 is mounted to the lower part of the arm 7 disposed inside the body part, and a coil 20 is disposed in a position to face the magnet 11 on a perpendicular line of a fulcrum of the arm 7. The coil 20 is excited to repel the magnet 11. A fixed magnet 21 repelling the magnet 11 is disposed near the swing changeover position of the arm 7, and the coil 20 is excited using a solar battery 22 used as a power source.
