The bed frame (1) has two longitudinal elements (2) fitted with pouches or spring elements for joining the transversally positioned slats (1.1, 1.2). The slats (1.1, 1.2) are mainly located at the upper and lower end of the frame (1) in order to support the head and lower legs of the user. Up to three blocks (4, 5, 6) made of an elastic material in different levels of density can be inserted between the groups of slats (1.1, 1.2) in the shoulder and the pelvic area if so wished. The blocks (4, 5, 6) rest on elastic bases and can be exchanged as required by the user.
