The shaft production process involves starting from a sheet (2), which is divided into sectors (2', 2), of which some (e.g. 2) correspond to the torque transmission element or cam (6). The geometrical measurements and material properties of these sectors are defined dependent on the requirement profile of the hollow shaft in the sheet production process.
