The circuit has knots (1, 2) with a switch for configuring connections of input-ports of the knots and/or output ports of an arithmetic logic unit (ALU) to output ports of the knots and/or input ports of the ALU. An instruction is transmitted by an instruction network to configure the operation of the ALU, switch and the connections of the knots in a data network. A token assigned to input and output of the switch signals whether data are available at the input and output, and the switch transfers the data, when the data are available at the input and an empty space is available at the output.
