The system has a safety stop valve for controlling and regulating passage and discharge of diesel fuel or additives for treatment of exhaust gas. The valve has a housing with surfaces (11, 12), which are formed from a metallic base material. The surfaces come in contact with diesel fuel and/or the additives, during operation of the system. The surfaces are coated with a carrier layer, which is further coated with a protective layer of zinc. The protective layer has a thickness of 10 micrometer, and the carrier layer has a thickness of 5 micrometer.
