A first separator (38a) and a second separator (38b) make up separator bodies having the same shape, which are oriented 180 opposite to each other. The first separator (38a) has first sandwiching sections (50a, 50b and 62a, 62b) sandwiching electrolyte electrode assemblies (36) therebetween, along with fuel gas supply units (46, 58). A fuel gas supply passage (44) extends in a stacking direction through the fuel gas supply units (46, 58).
