<p>The cooler (1) block (2) is held between side sections (3, 4) terminating in connectors (5, 6). These are welded to the tube plates. In novel arrangement, the side sections overlap the tube plates (7, 8) of the cooler block. Each side section has a base which overlaps the corresponding tube plate of the cooler block. The shoulder region of each side section, overlaps the sides of the cooler block. At least one surrounding weld seam is made, which fixes the edges of the side sections in position.</p> |
