PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of manual input data by operator to improve the working efficiency and to shorten the work time by producing superscription data on a new patient by making use of same of data on the superscription on the family of the patient that have been already registered. SOLUTION: The telephone number of a patient is also registered when the proper information on the patient is registered in a superscription data file 31. When a new patient visits a hospital, the superscription data on the patient are registered in the file 31. At the same time, an operator also inputs the telephone number of the patient and gines instruction for retrieval of patients family living togather through a keyboard 29. A control part 21 has an access to a film device 30 in response to the instruction of the operator and reads out the file 31. If the corresponding record, i.e., the superscription's of the patient's family are already registered, these superscriptions are displayed in a list. Then, the control part 21 copies the retrieved superscription data to those on the new patient excluding patient's name, sex and date of birth by the instruction of the operator. |
