A method for producing an anisotropic conductive film is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost and to improve the productivity by rapidly manufacturing an inexpensive anisotropic conductive film. A method for producing an anisotropic conductive film comprises (a) a step for preparing a high molecular membrane formed with a plurality of pores in a vertical direction; (b) a step for plating the high molecular membrane by using an electroless plating method to plate the inner surfaces of a plurality of pores; (c) a step for leaving selectively the plated part inside a plurality of pores. The high molecular membrane is formed with at least one material selected from polycarbonate, polytetrafluoroethylene and polyester.
