METHOD FOR STORING THE BROADCAST ON A DATA BROADCAST AND A IMAGING APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

A method for storing broadcast in a data broadcast and an image apparatus to which the same is applied are provided to store or output an image with regard to a data broadcasting signal, thereby easily obtaining various data. A broadcast processing unit processes broadcast by using a received broadcast signal when the broadcast signal is received. The broadcast processing unit outputs the processed broadcast to a broadcasting output unit(S320). When a storage command is detected with regard to a data broadcast(S330-Y), a controller captures an image portion displayed on a display by a data broadcast signal(S340), and stores the captured image in a storage unit(S350). When a command for transmitting the stored image to an external apparatus(S360-Y), the image is transmitted to the external apparatus(S370).
