PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a main body of the telephone set free from both hands in a speech state without deteriorating the sensitivity of radio transmission reception. SOLUTION: A main body 1 of the telephone set is provided with a built-in microphone 3 picking up a voice to be sent, a built-in speaker 2 sounding a received voice, and a headset jack 24 to which an external headset 17 consisting of a headset earphone 19 and a headset microphone 18 is plugged, and also with a changeover means that selects the built-in microphone 3 for voice pickup when the external headset 1'7 is not plugged in the headset jack 24 or selects the headset microphone 18 for voice pickup when plugged in, and with posture hold mechanism at the lower part of the main body 1, in which a cover 14 of an operation section 11 is hinged with a hinge 26 and the cover 14 is held fixed at a desired angle with respect to the main body 1. |
