Disclosed herein is a structure of a neck rest for vehicles ergonomically designed to absorb shock and prevent crick in the neck, which includes a head part disposed on the front face thereof and having a support frame formed in such a way as to surround a user's cervical vertebral of the neck and a buffering part and a support part disposed on the rear face thereof, thereby minimizing a driver's or a passenger's shock and wholly protecting the driver's or the passenger's neck, head and shoulders during traveling or at the time of a car crash. The neck rest includes: a head part having a support frame formed in such a way as to surround a user's cervical vertebral of the neck to support the neck; a buffering part of a bellows form adapted to absorb shock and prevent crick in the neck at the time of a car crash or during a long- term traveling; and a support part adapted to join the neck rest to a seat of the vehicle. The neck rest further includes a head control part for allowing a user to easily and selectively control the head part from the outside using a lever. |
