The system has a main brake cylinder (4) and a pump device (9) provided with a set of pistons (9a-9c). A part of one of the set of pistons is connected with the cylinder at an input side by a path (6b) and a part of remaining pistons is connected with the cylinder by another separate path (6a). The former path and the latter path are connected in parallel, where a valve (7) is arranged in the former path. A locking device (20) is provided in the latter path, and an electric motor drives the pistons of the pump device.
