Metallic insert band for trimming and sealing strips

The metal band is provided with a central row of openings (3) pointed at both ends (4) and alternating cut-out areas (1) along both sides (2) in order to facilitate a rubber coating to penetrate and form a connection with the metal. The band is bent into a profile and cut to segments of the appropriate length. Additional slots (6) cut from the outer edge (2) towards the center (7) create bridges (8) of a reduced length, saving energy and time when creating segments.
