PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a still image for only a subscriber's house making a request of the still image by means of on-demand. SOLUTION: A still image with a name on request is extracted from a still image recorder 13, and an extracted still image is processed into one frame, an ID number provision still image transmitter 14 sends the image in the unit of frames to which an ID number specific to a subscriber's house is added. Then a CATV station 2 sends the still image with the ID number added thereto to one channel of a CATV line 3. A terminal equipment 4 extracts a frame to which the ID number specific to the subscriber's house is added by an ID number image receiver 42 and displays the image onto a television receiver 44.
