PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the output power extraction efficiency when connected with a constant voltage load, by allowing for polyphase AC output from an electrostatic induction generator.SOLUTION: An electrostatic induction generator is constituted of a rotatable rotor having a charging section, and a stator having a conductive section facing the rotor via a cavity of a predetermined distance therefrom. In particular, the conductive section of the stator, i.e., an electrode plane, is divided into three concentric annular regions, each of which is divided into a plurality of small electrodes of the same area, and the arrangement phase of the electrode of each annular region is set to 0° and ±120°, thus generating a three-phase AC power used generally as a power supply. Since the current ripple of the three-phase AC power is reduced, power extraction efficiency to the load can be enhanced compared with single phase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
