PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor network capable of effectively reducing power required for the activation of a sensor without depending on the position information of an inhabitant, and maintaining detection accuracy basically requested as a sensor.SOLUTION: The halt control system of a sensor network includes: a sensor network 2 in which a sensor 21 capable of discriminating whether an object 11 is in a significant state or an insignificant state is installed for each of all objects 11 in a monitoring space; and control means for, when it is determined that one object 11 is in the significant state by one sensor 21 in the sensor network 2, controlling the state of another sensor 21 installed for another object 11 on the basis of a preliminarily acquired correlation between the significant state and the insignificant state between the respective objects 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
