The invention relates to an electronic system for automatically assisting the braking system performance for a bicycle equipped with disk brakes. According to the invention, the system comprises: two prestressed force transducers (1 and 25), mounted between two arms (B1 and B2) at the bicycle back wheel, and between other two arms (B3 and B4) at the bicycle front wheel, respectively, an inductive motion sensor (10), a microprocessor (11) which takes over and processes the values of the braking forces exerted by some braking plates (7 and 8) upon a braking disk (16) of the back wheel and by some other braking plates (20 and 21) upon another braking disk (17), of the front wheel, as well as the values of the distance run by the bicycle, two micro-switches (K1 and K2) actuated at each braking start and at each braking stop, by some braking shoes (5, 6, 18, 19), the role of the micro-switches (K1 and K2) being to start and stop, respectively, an electronic timer, the value of the braking time being used by the bicycle microprocessor (11) for calculating the braking mechanical impulse, and the number of the electric contact interruptions, for counting the braking number on a certain route run by a bicyclist, where all the values relating to the braking system can be seen online as windows displayed on an electronic map, on a display of a bicycle board computer, or analytically studied one by one, in an offline system, by connecting the bicycle board computer to a superordinate computer (12). |
