PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make single operation of only pressing capable in multistep extension/contraction. SOLUTION: Contracting action is performed by pressing an outer or inner side slider 1 or 2 against energizing force of an extension direction energizing means 5, and in the case of a relative slide of both the sliders 1, 2 in this contracting direction, a lock pawl 3 is successively engaged with lock recessed parts 10a to 10c, so that stepped contraction can be made. On the other hand, in extending action, by further pressing in a condition contracted to the shortest condition, an engaging disabling guide part 11 functions, the lock pawl is placed in a disengageable condition, this condition is maintained by locking of the lock pawl to a lock receiving protrusion 8, and during this time by energizing force of the extension direction energizing means, a slide in an extension direction is automatically performed to the longest condition. |
