PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize recording system of data according to the application purpose.SOLUTION: The information processor includes: a recording system determination section that generates plural recording areas in a logical device constituted of the recording medium and determines a recording system which is applied to each of the recording areas based on the characteristics of data to be recorded on the recording medium including a life value which represents a holding period of the data and an error rate which represents an estimated ratio of errors which is possibly generated when the data is read out; and a logical device initialization section that initializes each of the recording areas in the logical device based on the determined recording system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
