The present invention relates to a battery pack including a protection circuit module. Provided is the battery pack, comprising: a battery cell which includes sealed surplus portions formed by thermal bonding after an electrode assembly having a structure in which a positive electrode and a negative electrode are disposed and a separator is interposed between the positive and negative electrodes has been mounted in an electrode assembly accommodation portion of a battery case, in which a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal project from one side sealed surplus portion of the sealed surplus portion, and which can perform charging and discharging; and a protection circuit module (PCM) which includes a printed circuit board (PCB) configured such that a protection circuit is formed thereon and external input and output terminals electrically connected to the protection circuit of the PCB, which is electrically connected to the positive and negative electrode terminals of the battery cell, and which has a length shorter than that of the sealed surplus portions; wherein a portion of the battery case corresponding to a length of the PCB in a vertical section has a rectilinear shape, and both ends of the battery case are curved upward or downward from the portion corresponding to the length of the PCB. |
