PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the problems when employing an insulator and a center electrode and a ground electrode configured to discharge in a cavity.SOLUTION: A plasma jet plug includes a cylindrical insulator having an inner surface forming a shaft hole extending along the axis line, a center electrode disposed in the shaft hole of the insulator, a main metal fitting disposed on the outer periphery of the insulator, and a tabular ground electrode connected with the main metal fitting to form a through hole and disposed on the tip side of the insulator. A cavity is formed by the surface of the center electrode on the tip side, the inner surface of the insulator, and the surface of the ground electrode on the rear end side. The main metal fitting has a rear support for supporting the ground electrode from the rear side, while disposing the ground electrode at a position on a tip end side separated from the insulator. The plasma jet plug is fixed to the main metal fitting, and includes a tip support member for supporting the ground electrode from the tip side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
