Injection pump for an internal combustion engine in which each cylinder has its own pump element 11 and these are arranged on a flange 13 in the same plane on the circumference of a circle, the injection pump is coupled to the crankshaft by gear wheels 1, 2, the pumping movement is imparted to the pump pistons 3 by way of heavy cam rollers 5 of the springs 4, a cam ring 6 is supported by way of bearings 7 against a body 8, to which a band 9 is thread-connected, by turning which the injection pump feed can be adjusted by turning on a pivot pin 10 thereon when the pump elements 11 approach the cam ring 6, increases the feed, the injection timing for its part is adjusted by means of a pivot pin 12 by turning a flange 13 with the pump elements 11, the flange 13 has been connected with running fit to a threaded ring 14, when the pivot pin 12 is turned in the direction counter to the rotational direction of the cam ring, the injection is advanced, the pump elements 11 are fixed by means of a threaded sleeve 15 to the flange 13, between a pressure valve 16 and a feed pipe 19 there is furthermore a fuel-permeable base plate 18, which can also be used to limit the movement of the pressure valve 16, fuel is fed to the injection pumps 11 through fuel pipes 17, before fixing to the pump elements 11 the fuel pipes 17, 19 form at least one part of a circular arc in order to give way to the small movement required by the timing adjustments of the fuel supply and variations in the fuel quantity. <IMAGE>
