[Also in Divisions F4, G1 and G3] Damping means for a diaphragm controlling a damper in a motor vehicle ventilator (see Division F4) comprises a chamber divided by a rigid, corrugated partition 56 having an aperture 90 therein, flexible diaphragms 60, 62, one at each side of the partition, and a viscous liquid comprising 45% water and 55% glycol between the diaphragms. A vacuum source connected to either line 46 or 48 moves the diaphragms and hence a damper through a link 92 connected to the diaphragm. |
