An openwork frame for a building is made up from a series of tubular members 1, 2 and a series of longer tubular members 3 which are flattened and apertured at each end and bolted together at 4, 7, 9 in the manner shown, the ends of the members 1, 2 being angled, see Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown). The frame members 2 may be made of aluminium, stainless steel or plastics material which may be suitably reinforced and a covering of plastics material may be directly secured thereto or attached to purlins carried thereby. |
