[Also in Division F2] A device for the opening and closing of windows, doors or sliding roofs comprises a worm 24 connected to the armature 19 of a reversible electric motor, without the interposition of a slipping clutch, the worm being associated with a brake 52, 53 and being axially displaceably mounted so that during the closing movement, axial thrust exerted by a worm-wheel 25 on the worm overcomes the force of a spring 48 and axially displaces the worm 24 so that the brake 52, 53 retards rotary movement of the worm 24. Wormwheel 25 is mounted on a shaft 26 which carries a pinion 27 meshing a toothed segment 29 incorporating an operating arm 30. Preloading of spring 48 can be adjusted by means of a screw 49. |
