Roof for buildings liable to be exposed to explosions has its whole surface made of polyester and polyamide fibre fabric coated with PVC. - The carrying structure is of steel pipe. - Pref., the fibres may also be polyacrylonitrile, polypropylene, polyvinyl alcohol, rayon, wool, cotton, or jute. - Polyurethane, synthetic rubber, rubber mixes, or water-repelling impregnations of the fabric may also be used.
