All the aromatic and heterocyclic rings represented by R1 and R2 and the fused pyridyl ring may be substd. by one or more lower alkyl, lower alkoxy halo, nitro, lower alkylmercapto, CF3 or di-lower alkyl-amino groups), are antifungals, antibacterials and inhibitors of lipogensis in adipous tissue and are used to control obesity.</p> |
