The electromagnetic control type of a rotary variable oil pump is capable of adjusting an appropriate amount of engine oil in accordance with the number of rotation and the load of an engine. The rotary variable oil pump in which an outside rotor(3) and an inside rotor(2) are coupled between a cover(8) of an intake passage(4) and a cover(8') of a discharge hole(5) to form a driving shaft(1), comprises: a plurality of bypass passages(6) installed on the cover(8') of the discharge hole(5); and a control valve(7) installed on the front of the intake passage(4) and connected to an ECU(9).
