MODE OF GAS PURIFYING FOR REMOVAL OF CARBON DIOXIDE AND/OR HYDROGEN SULPHIDE

<p>Natural gas, town gas etc. is purified of CO2 and/or hydrogen sulphide by absorbers comprising aqueous soln. of tri-ethanol-amine or other tertiary amines, followed by desorption of wash soln. Absorption speed is increased by addition of 0.01-3 Kmol/m3 of primary or secondary amines e.g. mono or di-ethanol-amine as activator.</p>
