In the side mirror of an automobile provided under the construction that a screen having a slit flute cut horizontally is inserted in top of an aperture part and an aperture part having a partially cut part in a door inner panel, and that through the aperture parts of the screen, an inner handle base and an inner handle assembly are installed through a trim, the structure for preventing side doors for use of an automobile from a water leakage is provided by the characteristic that an auxiliary screen(6) larger than the aperture part(3) is inserted into the slit flute(4) of the screen(5) in order to thereby shield a gap between the inner handle base(8) and the inner handle assembly(9), whereby improving a productivity of automobiles through a prevention of a water leakage.
