The cpds. have the formula R-O-(O)C-C(CH3)2 -2N=N- (I). In (I), R is n being 2-3, CH2-, (CH3)3C-O-O-(CH2)n, n being 2-4, (CH3)3C-O-O-CH-CH(CH3)-CH2-, or (CH3)3C-O-O-C(CH3)2-CH2. Used as initiators for the radical polymerisation of ethylenically unsatd. cpds. and as raw materials for the prepn. of novel reactive polymers having improved properties, e.g. high impact strength and high resistance to heat and frost, with high dielectric constant. also for the prepn. of oligomers contg. reactive gps.
