摘要 <p>The ink jet printer, whose nozzles are to be energised, is of the mosaic type. The ink in the nozzles is ejected in droplets through output apertures in a nozzle plate closing the nozzles. On the write nozzle (2) ends, away from the nozzle plate (3), is provided an electromagnetic transformer system (4,5,6) in the region of a compression chamber (7), filled with the ink. This system has for each nozzle a ferrite core (4) with an embedded magnetic coil (5), excitable in a pulsed manner. The system is completed by an armature element (6). A common ferrite block may be provided for several write nozzles. Each compression chamber, allocated to a nozzle, may be connected to a central ink supply passage (9) via an individual passage (8). The chamber may be formed by a spacing coil (10) with corresp. recesses. Alternately, this chamber and the passages are formed by corresp. recesses in the writing head housing or in the ferrite block.</p>
