<p>Hairs (1), esp. those of the persons to be treated, are fixed singly or in numbers to small, inactive esp. synthetic, e.g. silicone bodies from which they cannot be dislodged, possibly by welding, and the bodies are implanted in the skin (3) of the head for the redn. of a bald spot. A number of the bodies assembled on a punch may be set in simultaneously. The bodies are about the size of a hair root, shaped like a droplet, with the broad end turned to the skin surface. Artificial hair may also be used, but natural hair from the subject matches completely without dyeing.</p> |
